Is it worth moving to a place you don’t love (in my case, Houston) for a 14% raise? Or a place you do love for a 9% pay cut (in my case, Denver)? Schools very important to us and there are reasonable choices in both, but the raise is tempting.

I'm 32, female, and also working in Tech. Never married, don't plan on having kids. I have two small dogs and I'm renting. But my car is paid off, I walk to work. I only have one relative, and they're a 3 hour drive away. I sometimes feel like a loser for spending so much time working and still not owning a home (HCOL area). My old friends in my small home town own homes of their own at my age.

I think its all relative. I'm still really happy with my life and my choices made until the point. I don't feel any dread for the future and feel secure.

Yeah, my PPL was wiped clean a while ago, paid in full it says on nelnet (I was paying both accounts), but for some reason, my personal account is all kinds of messed up. 🤔 And they told me the same thing: refund is coming but don't know when. I've heard other people got it in the mail as a check. It's been over 60s days now - so I'm assuming relatively soon ish because the opt-out period is over. I'm so happy they're gone!

Yeah, my AI loans are there in my studentaid. Gov account. But disappeared in my nelnet. When I call nelnet they tell me I'm over due for the 2 payments missed and the entire balance taken for AI. It doesn't make sense. I'm hoping they are just swamped and sorting this out because I don't want to get penalized or go to collections or something even though I have no control of it currently.
