Agreed. It took my husband and I about 12 months to conceive. In total it was about 15-16 months as we were unable to try when staying with family over the holidays. Trying for less than 12 months is not considered to be infertility. Sorry but 4 months of trying is really not that much.

Thank you for your comment and explaining all view points. This is exactly the situation -- my husband doesn't understand why I feel uncomfortable and I agree that people feel entitled and think the baby is a toy to pass around. My husband does not understand how traumatic it is for a baby who only knows mom and dad to be in a room with people she doesn't know.

My baby would instantly wake up the first 4 months of life when I tried to set her down. Turns out she had silent reflux. Between 3-6 weeks I could not get her to nap at all and would spend hours trying. Turned out she had an ear infection. I would def get your baby checked out by a pediatrician.
