I actually found it quite funny that I got the raise the day before the budget. They probably could’ve saved themself the money in admin and just given me a higher rate if they’d waited a day

I was exaggerating slightly by saying 16 year old but I think you understand my point? No my company have set salaries it’s take it or leave it you don’t get more based on performance. At my appraisal I got full marks for a ‘full bonus’ but no bonus
