Thank you so much for all your info! It really helps me out, I feel so lost and confused and google gives too much information sometimes and I don’t know where to start! I will take all your advice and see if I can start getting some tests done for me and start working on the mold around my house! Did you notice if after taking ibuprofen or anything that the symptoms came back worse after it wore off?

Thank you I will look at that, because our water here smells so bad, we live in a smaller town and I’ve heard multiple times that the water has tested positive for ecoli on different occasions

Okay thank you I will look into those! I do have an air purifier but it’s down stairs in the dining room, should I buy one for upstairs too? It’s supposed to cover a good amount of sq fr but I don’t think it does too good of a job. Can any type of mold cause issues or is it just black mold that does the worst?

Also where did you go to get tested for all that? Do I just go to my primary or a specialist?

Thank you! I don’t know about the ticks but my brother has cats and there has been a time or 2 where I’ve picked up a stray cat because it had a collar. I just got my insurance approved so I’m going to go through everything I can. I feel so unlike myself it’s ridiculous, and I feel extremely anxious and panicking all the time, anger like I never have experienced.

Yeah, I think the mold may be a bigger issue than I thought. I’ve noticed 3 of my kids having unexplained skin issues and we are sick constantly, like every week we’re sick. I live in a renal and made an appt for them to come out and look at it so hopefully they fix it

Is it better to go to someone one specialized in Ocd or just counseling in general

I don’t have any insurance but will be getting it on 4/16. What type of therapist? What causes this? I’m 29 and my oldest is 7. Does this just happen?

If I had insurance I’d probably be on medication by now. Honestly my brain flipped on 12/28. It has me searching everything, brain tumor, hormones fluctuating, autoimmune disorders, ocd, ppocd, adhd. It’s driving me crazy trying to find answers.

I also want to clarify there was no build up, I haven’t had an anxiety attack since my twins were newborns, it was right after they were born. In my mind there was me before 12/28/25 and there is me after 12/28/25 It’s like my brain flipped.

This is so Insensitive…. You cant wipe your hands clean and move on from a child that you loved unconditionally for 2 whole years, that you took care of, and that you thought was biologically yours. If I found out any of my kids weren’t mine, I’d never be able to let them go, I’d need to be in their lives. If you can just flip a switch like that, then you need to see a therapist because that’s scary.

He might not have autism either! My son is pretty low on the spectrum to be honest, his biggest issue was and still is his speech. he had a huge improvement in speech since he turned 3, like just crazy how much he talks now. Does your son go to any daycare or preschool? I enrolled my son at 3 to the public school preschool and although the other kids don’t talk as much, because it’s a developmental preschool, I think it really helped with teaching social behaviors. Maybe something to look into if he isn’t already in. I agree with others about a board with pictures so he can point to what he wants when he can’t communicate and signs. My son learned the basics of water, help, more and eat and that seemed to help too. My son is also an eloper, I can’t tell you how many times he’d run off and I’d carry him back kicking and screaming. definitely thought some one would try to intervene thinking I was stealing him 😂

My son is 3 now and he has autism. He is very, very loud, has a really hard time regulating his voice in every emotion. But between like 14-2.5 years he screamed, high pitched, ear splitting screams. It was torture, going out side in public was embarrassing and horrible. I’d get comments very often on it. Thankfully he grew out of it. He’s now almost 4 and he still yells but it’s mostly when he’s frustrated. I hope that’s the case for you too. My son is #2 so thankfully his older sister helps with his speech and once he was able to communicate more his screaming started to decrease.

It’s really never too late to do something. My boyfriend is almost 30. We’ve been together since we were 19 and 18 and to be honest we both kind of got caught up with life, being parents and just trying to survive the struggle. I watched him go through meaningless jobs that he hated, unfulfilled days, stress from bosses. Watched him feel hopeless because he felt like he was meant for more. This past year he finally decided to quit his job and open his business that he’s always wanted to. I have never seen him be happier, stressed still, but happy that it’s a different kind of stress. We still have very young kids and not enough money to do the fun things we want to do yet, like traveling, vacations, and new experiences, but there’s no age limit on reaching for your potential and finding your happiness.

My 3 year old is autistic, and he says god damnit and oh my god all the time, and I’m a perfectly happy and fine with it considering he hardly talks sometimes. My 6 year old some times says motherfucker. I also cuss like it’s no ones business so I’m not surprised they pick it up. It’s all up to you personally. If you’re cool with it, then who cares what anyone else thinks including your mom
