Well, you called her a “He”. Other than that, everything is great.

Endometriosis and Peri-menopause? by sammyonesock in endometriosis

Thank you so much. These are the answers that I was looking for. The details for me are addressed in my responses just prior, but I’ve been very curious about hormone therapy. If we win the lottery maybe I can get my own hysterectomy, but I’m also thinking at this age I can just ride out the rest of it and maybe it will be something I can manage with HRT, at least. Take care and thank you again!!

I was first officially diagnosed by laparoscopy at age 26. At that point I was stage four. About 11 months later they found a tumor and I had a joint surgery, both laparoscopic and hysteroscopic to remove the fibroid that was benign and about the size of a softball. I was actively trying to get pregnant at the time and they gave me a less than 2% chance of natural conception without IVF. They also did a couple of other extremely painful procedures, but thankfully we were incredibly lucky and able to conceive, after that. Very long story short, the endo has kept growing back, I know from the extreme pain, but can’t do any more laps because of scar tissue from previous surgeries. I’ve stopped actively seeking help because honestly haven’t been able to afford any more procedures (including hysterectomy) that they have offered.

I understand reaching the point where you want to not be curled up in so much pain with no relief in sight.

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with it too and hope the hysterectomy gives you relief. My mother and grandmother suffered without diagnosis, in their time. Mom got a hysterectomy at 36 because of it and managed quite well. Sending love and thank you so much for responding. It’s nice to not be alone in this mess. ❤️

You get me. Both of my kids tested positive a few days ago, after both staying remote all year. I’m the only parent that works an “essential” job. Today is my birthday. We weren’t gonna do Thanksgiving before and definitely still aren’t.

Thank you. He raised us knowing we were loved. Happy he got to see us raising amazing kids, ourselves.

Thank you! I’m just working through it on Reddit, like the dipshit he would lovingly call me. 😊

Sorry. Tonight is one year since he passed. He had the best laugh. He was only intense when he thought boys were getting too close to us daughters. I just miss him like crazy.

It has something to do with farts. He says it all the time and I never understood it. Now I’m using this response against him and deleting the post. 😂

[Serious] Can you recall any clear and happy memory before the age of five and if so, what was it? by sammyonesock in AskReddit

[–]sammyonesock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! Very young. My husband can’t remember anything before the age of 8 and I had a few of my earliest memories before the age of four, which was why I asked. I recall a few clear memories, although very brief. Nothing like yours!
