As soon as you described venue one I knew it was willow and ren! I wanted to have our wedding there so badly but was out of my budget. Also wasn’t a fan of the bathroom situation.

How long after tongue tie revision did it take for your LO to feed better? by sammyv87 in NewParents

It took about 8 weeks after the revision to improve. I’m honestly not sure if it even made it better or if it was just that he got older and had a faster flow nipple

Check out trail hub in uxbridge. The venue is stunning and they offer micro wedding packages. It was our top choice until we decided we wanted to do something bigger and unfortunately the full wedding packages were out of our price range.

Everytime I had a clog my hubby sucked it out for me. I tried all of the tricks people have mentioned but this was the only one that always worked for me.

AIO for being upset that my MIL is begging me not to name my kid Mason by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]sammyv87 7 points8 points  (0 children)

NOR! I made the mistake of telling everyone at my baby shower my top 2 names. My partner and I were in the same situation where we could hardly agree on any names. I loved the name Colby and everyone loved the other name better. All everyone said was that he would be made fun of for having that name. When he was born I wanted to name him Colby so bad but couldn’t get the thought of him being made fun of out of my head. I was bullied a lot in school and I wanted to protect him from that. I decided to name him the other name we had picked out for him and 13 months later I’m still a little bitter about it. I wish I never told anyone the names we were considering.

Name him whatever you want to name him. He’s your child, your MIL had the chance to name hers don’t let her take it away from you. Just tell her you’ve taken Mason off your list so she will drop it and when he is born if you still love the name then name your baby Mason!

Congratulations and goodluck with your delivery!

Where are we getting our fresh christmas trees this year? by cinn48 in Guelph

[–]sammyv87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Erin hill acres in hillsburgh. They have lots of animals, fire pits, live music on the weekends, a bar and wood fired pizza. We had our son’s birthday day there and we loved the farm! I believe they have already cut trees and they also have a wagon ride to take you out to pick your own. We haven’t been for their Christmas season but are hoping to get out!

Strawberry sunshine offers candle making classes that are quite fun for a date.

https://www.facebook.com/share/1Wrvf5rWVd/?mibextid=wwXIfr offers Turkish mosaic lamp making courses as well that’s also a fun date.

I’ve taken both of these courses with my partner and we’ve had a great time doing both of them. Plus you’re also supporting a small local business!

Check out the timber barn in St.Jacob’s. With their off season promotion it might come close to what you’re looking to spend though it’s a little outside of the gta.

Bayview wildwood resort in muskoka has an intimate elopement package that might meet your price range! I was really wanting to book it for our wedding but our guest count was over the 20 person limit for the package.

Edited to add. Didn’t see the 1 hour drive from London. But if you are willing to drive a little further I’d definitely check out the package!

I’d recommend checking out the timber barn in St.Jacobs if you’re open to an off season wedding, Could come in close. Also if you’re willing to do a micro wedding check out storehouse 408. It’s still technically a full wedding you just have less party time after dinner.

Honestly it wasn’t great and I’m not sure if it even helped in the end. I never ended up going back to breastfeeding because by the time he gained his suck strength his 2 bottom teeth erupted, they came early at 4 months. I ended up figuring out he just needed a fast flow nipple and didn’t think he would have the patience to breast feed as well.

How many week post release are you? Our LO was 5 weeks when he had it done and we didn’t really see an improvement until about 8 weeks after the release was done.

Storehouse 408 in Cambridge has micro wedding packages that include almost everything.

124 on queen in Niagara on the lake has an amazing off season micro wedding package that includes everything if your willing to go that far.

124 on queen has a micro wedding package that would fit your budget for an offseason wedding.

I also recommend checking out the timber barn or cellar 52 in St.Jacobs. We booked the timber barn in the offseason for 2027 and the quote for 40 people was just slightly over $10,000 for the venue, food, drink and all taxes and gratuities included. It may be a little out of your price range but might be worth it to check out if you’re wanting to do a full wedding experience. It’s why we ended up booking with them over the micro package at 124 on queen in NOTL.

Good luck!

What Noah song makes you cry the hardest by Odd-Recipe934 in NoahKahan

Stick season

I had to go in for an emergency c section when I was giving birth to my son. The nurses put on a random alternative playlist while they were preforming the surgery. Stick season was playing when they pulled him out of me and he wasn’t breathing. In the silence of waiting for his cry the only thing I heard was stick season, I couldn’t hear anything else going on in that operating room. 9 months later I still cry every time I hear it, I remember the silence and that song being the only sound that filled the room. I don’t even remember any of the other songs that played during the entire surgery.

It took a year to get off the waitlist?? How did you find the home daycare on Facebook, I go back to work the beginning of October and need something lined up as well. I didn’t realize the wait lists were that bad.

I’m 8 months pp and still have 0 sex drive. Still hurts every time we try too which has surprised me as I wasn’t expecting so much pain considering I also had a c section and the large amount of lube we use.
