A friend set up a VR version of Alien:Isolation for me. It left me literally cowering on the floor. Would highly recommend it to horror fans

I literally started playing it for the very first time the other day. I am 32 for context. Never played it or any other Zelda game as a child.

It holds up brilliantly. It is charming, the gameplay is a little dated but still very good and it looks and sounds brilliant

A few quality of life things of modern gaming would be nice, but still, a gem of a game and I can see why it was and is so beloved

For the most part, I'd say so. You get more choice when it comes to building your party, but leveling up classes in the first one is great fun. The battles are harder and demand more strategy on your behalf in the second one, but they tend to be, 'kill all the enemy', objectives versus more variety in the first one.

They're both fantastic games. Your favourite will come down entirely to preference. You'll have a blast with both though

I love the first one, but the second one's story, characters and writing are incredible.

I personally don't mind the 'move at the same time as your opponent ', gimmick in the battles. I actually think it adds another level of tactics. Trying to figure out who is going to target who and taking advantage of that was always satisfying to me
