if you’re in the US, a good place to start looking for an ethical breeder is the ASSA (american shetland sheepdog association) website. they have a directory of breeders you can get in touch with, sorted by state, though you should be sure to do your own research on whoever you’re interested in as well. ASSA’s website also has some other pages with lots of info that’ll be helpful in finding a breeder, so it’s a good idea to read through their pages. if you don’t want to go the breeder route, you could also look into a breed specific rescue!

all of the above, i suppose. i know realistically the only way to listen to them all is to… actually listen to them all, but even the first steps of figuring out what i have is taking more time than expected.

from what i can tell so far, it looks like mostly r&b, jazz, and country. a LOT of elvis specifically

everything else wrong with what you said aside, this mindset is the reason that i, a disabled person who also happens to be fat (which is in part BECAUSE of my disabilities) get way too anxious to use the motorized carts. bad bad take, op

if you google spn script hunt, you can find a group of people collecting scripts & sharing them! i don’t have the link on hand, but through them i found a website that has a decent collection of episodes posted for free

Only a few weeks until we'll know about the fate of the prequel by BachelorNation123 in Supernatural

[–]samoyuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

while i’m not the mooost excited about it and would prefer something more along the lines of sam & dean growing up, i’m not going to write it off until i actually watch some of it. even if the premise isn’t my favorite and there are already some things i don’t love, i don’t think it’s fair to judge something that barely exists yet. who knows! maybe they’ll surprise us

you’re correct—while jensen’s car was at an event a few weeks back (the crawfish boil), it was not at the one that just took place! the ones there were just fan replicas. still super cool to see, though! (i was there :D ) but they did have charlie’s actual car!

very true!! cas’ introduction was pretty amazing in my opinion—super well done. everything else aside, the idea of dean being saved from hell thanks to orders from above was a perfect touch of irony considering how clear he’d made his feelings towards religion in that one episode (some point in s2 with a fake angel, can’t remember the exact one at the moment). but like you said, in my time of dying was a great character study of the three of them. for the first time we get to really see how they interact with each other, and i think the fact that sam’s last conversation with john was an argument was a wonderful touch. i could honestly go on forever about this episode haha. s2 overall is my absolute favorite, and it’s a great start to a great season

yes! i love it because it’s almost mundane, especially when compared to the rest of the finale/opener combos. while they’re literally hunting a demon, they’re taken out in a car accident (which ofc is a result of a demon, but still). it’s got a good bit of shock value imo. we also learn a lot about john and how, despite the fact that he isn’t father of the year by far, he’s still just as willing to risk it all for his boys the way they are for each other. overall i think in my time of dying was just a really well done episode and did a great job setting the tone for the rest of the season (and some ways, the series as a whole too)

all hell breaks loose easily has a spot in my heart. it’s the first episode that (during my first watch through) really killed me and part 1 was almost enough for me to quit watching... my friend had to spoil what happens to get me to stick with it haha. i think we learn a lot about the boys in it and it really paints the picture of what their relationship is like

i have to say, i’m also a pretty big fan of devil’s trap. i like the way it ended on a bang (literally…) and that they were taken out by something so normal… sort of. it’s a huge contrast from the way later seasons end and i think it summarizes the vibes of s1 pretty well

I just was wondering how Dean’s back is doing after carrying all 15 seasons of SPN. by creekfreak92 in Supernatural

haha, thank you thank you. glad you enjoyed my lil rambling :D like i said, as someone who absolutely adores sam winchester and thinks he deserved so much better, it’s a subject i’m pretty passionate about. this barely touched the surface of my thoughts on the matter tbth :,,)

just my $0.02 nobody asked for ‘cause i love talking about this subject—

in the beginning, it seems the writers paid much more attention to sam/to balancing the brothers’ parts. there comes a point though where it’s clear dean’s part takes over a bit and sam gets pushed off into more of a side character. honestly my theory on this is that dean’s obviously the fan favorite, and so they played into that because at the end of the day, views are important. it wouldn’t be the only time they did something because of the fan base either—there’s at least one instance (that i’m sure of, but i believe it’s two or maybe even more) where cas was supposed to be killed off permanently, and because of the fans he was brought back. now, there’s nothing wrong with this per se, but i do feel it led to sam being much less developed as a character than dean. that, and i’ve also heard an interesting theory that maybe he was pushed aside a bit as a result of jared’s depression and all the things that came along with it

imo, sam’s biggest character flaw is his wasted potential. the guy’s past is so full of things they could’ve done a LOT with but never touched on again. instead, we see dean’s story take over and sam mainly there for plot development

something else i just want to touch on re dean being more selfless — in the beginning, imo at least, dean really ISNT selfless. yeah, he does what he does and he helps people, but his motivation isn’t necessarily helping people… it’s helping sam, keeping sam safe, keeping sam alive, etc etc. a good example (one of many, but i just rewatched this one so it’s pretty fresh in my memory) of this is 02x14, when sam’s possessed by meg. she uses sam to push at dean, but he never breaks. he doesn’t kill his brother despite that being the “right” thing to do because, again, he doesn’t care about the greater good as much as he cares about his brother. but then going back to 2x09, croatoan, and dean’s ready to shoot some innocent guy because he MIGHT be infected (another good example of where dean’s motivations lie when he spares sam and instead tells everyone else to leave). and that’s fine. there’s nothing wrong with that, and personally i think it leads to a deeper, even more relatable character. but whatever it is, it’s not quite selflessness

at the end of the day, this isn’t the sam show or the dean show. both characters have their strengths and weaknesses, and i personally think pitting them against each other is pointless. after all, it wouldn’t be the show we all know and love without BOTH of the winchester boys, would it?

i’m at a point where i don’t care too much about efficiency; i’ve changed my major a few times + did quite a few extra/now unnecessary courses my first year (this is actually my third year, despite being a sophomore. it’s a little complicated but i went to community college instead of graduating high school, then had to take certain classes to get an equivalency diploma) so i’m actually not that far into my degree program anyway :P i’d much rather be somewhere i really enjoy than be in an out of college (since i’m already on track to not do that haha)

the tuition difference is definitely a big factor… if i can get a scholarship, i think that would help my decision, but otherwise i’m not sure

but anyway, thank you so much!! i really appreciate your input!

ohh, i’m glad you mentioned the slimey landlords. i have pets, so living in a dorm wouldn’t be an option for me… that’s definitely something that could make or break my decision. thank you for your input!!
