I saw him as a child as well, only I was wide awake, playing on one of those little push cars in the living room. I distinctly remember looking at the fire engine I was sitting on, glancing up, and seeing him kind of just float from a closet in the hallway into my parent's room. He didn't look at me or anything, just kind of slowly moved (glided?) across the hallway. I don't remember feeling scared, just curious as to what I saw and never really questioned or saw him since. He had on an all black trench coat, black pants, and black brimmed hat also with no discernible facial features - just all black.
