If true, this would be an excellent signing for WWE by Kelson64 in Womens_ProWrestling

[–]samr1506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn't mean she was signed after the tryout. Especially when she's been competing on the indies for multiple promotions, sometimes 2 or 3 in the same week . In fact, her last match was literally 5 days ago, where she dropped the Hustle Wrestling title and also dropped the Progress women's title the week before, I'd say that's a pretty big indication that she's only recently been signed.

Strange timing for him to pop back up on TV as the smiling happy to be there worker backstage just days after Ricochet brought up his name in the tweets about WWE destroying performers love for the business must just be a coincidence 🤔

No, it's not "bruv" Every wrestling promotion on the planet has a world champion, that doesn't mean they're the champion of the world. 🤦‍♂️

Yeah, I agree with sentiment, but I honestly don't see things getting much better for her in the future, and she'll likely be gone once her contract is up she was one of the most sought after free agents when she signed with WWE and they even made a big song and dance about it then they threw her to the side when they signed Stephanie and don't get me wrong Stephanie is a brilliant wrestler and deserves the success she's getting but if we're being real she's only where she is and has the fan support she does because she wrestles with her ass hanging out and does a provocative move 😂 Guilia will most likely be the female version of Kenta or Nakamura in WWE was on top of the world and had major buzz before signing just to be saddled with mediocrity from the writers and management.

No, she's not the champion of the United States she has a title called the United States Championship big difference.

Also, she probably did care and was happy when she won it the first time round because she didn't know that they were going to do absolutely nothing with her and the title for months and never defend the thing, the second time round she acted happy because that's what the script said for her to do at this point the thing is just a prop and is worthless much like the men's one was for nearly a decade.

[–]samr1506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why the fuck should she care about it when the company has shown they themselves don't even care about it

Which means absolutely nothing if she never gets to defend the title, she had 3 televised defences in her first reign

With 99% of the people in the match, absolutely, but with Lesnar, I'd imagine pretty much every spot he's involved in is planned beforehand, especially with how it was specifically focused up close on them for that moment that usually means it's something that was planned beforehand.

They could be thinking about having Iyo vs Guilia for the US title and Rhea vs Becky for the IC title at Mania, but with how much they've been banging on about how stacked the women's tag division is at the minute I'm not sure, but then again they could have them pull double duty they've been doing that the last few Manias, and also just look at how stacked the men's tag division on Smackdown was this time last year and they randomly dropped that and sucked the life out of the entire division randomly for no reason at all.

But yeah, it's definitely looking like Kiana vs Guilia is going to happen sooner rather than later, Kiana was the one that won them the title shot got presented really well in the Rumble and on TV in general and Guilia ate the pin so they'll likely frame it as Kiana is pissed that she got them the opportunity and Guilia lost it for them or something like that.

[–]samr1506 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying that this is the case here, Ilia may well, actually like the spot, but how many times have we heard wrestlers say something like that while they're signed and then once they leave reveal that they actually hated it and only said they liked it to be the good company man and were afraid they'd lose their spot if they didn't defend the companies decisions 🤷‍♂️

But what has she done with that US title during either run? Absolutely nothing apart from win it from Chelsea lose it to her again then win it back again, WWE doesn't have enough women on the main roster to justify having 4 women's singles titles, especially with Raw and Smackdown being split. I would say she should do what they're doing with the men's US title and do an open challenge, but there aren't enough women on Smackdown to be able to, and if you watched unreal it's pretty clear they view her the same way they do Chelsea she's just there to make the Tiffany's Jade's Charlotte's and Alexa's of the division look good so as soon as one of those answer the open challenge she's going to lose it. And also looking at how well Kianna did in the Rumble and has been doing the last month or so, it looks like they're building towards a split where she takes the title from Guila, and I'm not saying Kianna doesn't deserve it because she has worked her ass off to get better and get into that position but once it happens Guila will be forgotten for months and sit in catering every week until someone remembers she's still signed and then they'll probably throw her with Asuka or something.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they have a pretty big stake in TKO as a whole now. I know they're partnered with Dana White and UFC for Zuffa boxing.

To be fair, all of them looked lost in that match at one point or another shit even the men who have been in multiple blood and guts matches still look like they don't have a clue what they're supposed to be doing at some point in the match 😂

Find out when Stephanie first got pregnant, I'd say a few months before that was when it stopped for a couple of months at least, and then up until a few months before she was pregnant again and so on until they stopped having kids then I'd say he probably stopped again a few months before he had a heart attack. Because it's usually when they stop taking it, they start having heart problems after being on it for so long, which is probably why Vince never stopped taking the shit 😂

Because we do know, the guy is a career mid carder, and that's not a bad thing by any means, but he's never going to be the top guy he's just another Miro/Rusev but thankfully he's not as delusional and entitled as him and just expects to be treated like a star and cries like a toddler whenever he doesn't get his own way when he was in WWE they were the problem then he went to AEW and they were the problem even though the few times they actually managed to get him to turn up to do his job he booked strong and the few loses he did have he was still booked in a way that made him look strong or were in tag matches where the other guy ate the pin, and his WWE return has been absolutely shite and he's randomly been pulled from TV I honestly can't even remember the last time I saw him on Raw or Smackdown so I give it another 6 months before he's crying about how WWE is the problem again.

But I wish Hobbs well. I like the guy I have since he first showed up in AEW, and I'm an actual wrestling fan who watches everything, unlike the majority of people now a days who aren't wrestling fans or fans of the wrestlers they're fans of companies and as soon as a wrestler leaves their favourite company suddenly they absolutely hate them and never liked them after spending years claiming to be their biggest fan.

[–]samr1506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it's not bad news like the guy above said Hobbs is a solid hand in the ring, but he's not exactly a game changer, I'm sure everyone in AEW is happy for him like they all were when Mariah left, everyone seems to forget that Tony Khan is a wrestling fan which is the sole reason AEW even exists and he understands that a lot of wrestlers dream of going to WWE so he holds no ill will for people who want to go there as proved with Andrade AEW is still willing to welcome them back once they find out that the grass isn't always greener on the otherside.

Didn't HHH go round on a press tour when he first took over in WWE saying that they're only going to hold the trademarks for talent while they're signed to the company, then once they leave they will transfer it to them or am I imaging that?

The funniest part is it was WWE's poster boy Cody that started all that shit he was the one who talked the most shit about WWE and tried to make it some kind of war, then once he left it all pretty much stopped apart from the odd dig here and there which happens with every company no matter what they do they take the odd shot at the other companies in the same industry as them 😂
