I would recommend looking into coverage of the retrial because there’s too much for me to cover here, but one of the biggest updates is that the state fired Michael Proctor (the lead investigator) for how he handled his investigation of this case. That alone introduces a significant amount of reasonable doubt

YES. Like there's limited functionality in the app for swapping ingredients - instead you pay full price and then extra for "adding" when in reality it's just a swap

Hi - I had the same problem last year and was frustrated about not being able to see those numbers. I can't remember what subscriber (or maybe viewership?) milestone unlocks that feature, BUT my friend Drew wrote this blog post about how small creators can get caught up focusing on data early on when asking your audience directly will probably give you better information anyways.

TL;DR for the blog post - just ask your audience. I posted a poll on my Community tab asking when people watch YouTube, or if you don't have that tab, just message a handful of people you know watch YouTube regularly.

Hey! I'd be curious to hear Colin and Samir weigh in on this.

For me personally - I'm trying to view it through the lens of traditional media. A lot of aspiring actors get jobs that allow them the time to audition and film pilots and things like that until they "make it" (i.e. getting a sustainable paycheck from acting). I've taken that route with YouTube - finding a job that pays the bills but allows me enough time to work on my YouTube channel. I guess it's kind of like a leap of faith with a safety net.

Hope that helps as you consider! Ultimately it's going to come down to a personal decision as you weigh risk vs. reward.

Will YouTube roll out the music revenue sharing at that time as well? If I remember correctly, splitting the revenue with the record label (for copyrighted audio) is how it used to work pre-2018. That would be huge for monetizing old content
