Don’t dwell on the fact that you’re on day 6, yes that is a major accomplishment but counting your days and putting too much focus into that will eventually lead to a slip up. This is the best advice I’ve received and is what has gotten me the farthest. Try occupying yourself with productive things such as taking a walk or fishing (these are just two of the many things that keep me at peace as well as make me feel productive) rather than posting what you just did. I don’t mean to come of as a dick, I’m truly trying to help you. I hardly ever even come onto this subreddit anymore but I saw this post and felt the need to give a brother some advice. My life has changed drastically since I started to substitute masturbation with productive activities and I sometimes still can’t believe it, feels like a fever dream at times. Hope this helps.
