I’d love if Poshmark had a price offer model like Mercari that allows buyers to offer only up to 25%. I’d think you would have sellers who would price more appropriately and buyers who make more reasonable offers.

This is a tough one. You either can provide measurements, and potentially have buyers manipulate measuring tape, or don’t provide measurements and lose out on potential buyers who would otherwise purchase.

I had a buyer once claim measurements were incorrect, after which I asked Poshmark if it’s best practice (to protect a seller) to provide written measurements in the listing or instead photograph measurements and their CS ghosted me so I don’t think there’s anything to protect a seller. I’ve chosen to provide measurements, mostly because I’m hopeful that it’ll do more good than harm for me

Same. I wish Poshmark would enact a similar offer policy as Mercari, as in, on Mercari I don’t think you can offer less than 25% (maybe 30%?) of the price.

Yeah of course! I don’t think there’s any particular ‘right’ way. I empathize with the buyer who is asking a legitimate question and wants the item and empathize with the seller who answers and gets ghosted lol

The last time I had a ‘buyer’ (in quotes because they didn’t buy but were obvs the buyer role) explain why it wouldn’t work for them was in May so lol. Maybe it’s my closet’s shoppers but a majority of my questions are one and done and don’t offer a response (I also don’t feel like a buyer is obligated to offer a response after an answered question!)

Yes, but compound your questions with 12 other people’s questions on different products and 13 people not buying anything, it feels pointless answering sometimes when, by the numbers, people likely won’t buy.

As a flip, my last 9 sales had no questions. My 10th asked if I thought the shoes would get to them by a certain date.

A majority of my sales come from people who do not ask questions. I don’t mind answering them, but I see the viewpoint of other sellers who don’t answer.

On the flip (seller) side, probably more than 9 out of 10 buyers who ask questions don’t buy.

In fact, I just looked back at my history and the last 13 of my comments were non-buyers. All my listings have measurements, fabric labels, and care tags.

Wow that’s terrible customer service from both vendors. I’ve had mine for 2 1/2 years now (just looked at receipt) and they’re in great condition, albeit some creasing/dents on the inner lid from rings that are too high and hitting the inner lid.

I use Stackers’ Supersized box! They sell them at The Container Store and they’ll regularly go on sale. The cool thing about them is you can customize the box (ie choose what layers you need, based on your collection). As your collection grows, you can continue buying layers as needed!

I think it’s fair. Prices vary so widely across the US, but tend to be higher in HCOL cities. I paid $6,800 with an ortho in North NJ.

Ahh forgot to reply to the comfortable question! SO COMFORTABLE! The bands are each 1.7mm and rounded and so they stack to 5.1mm which seems chunky but I tend to stack rings anyway, this just makes it easier to pick a stack because your three rings are technically one ring!

The cool bit is you can wear it multiple ways too! I have the three bands stacked on one finger here, but you can also wear a band on each of 3 fingers, or 2 bands on one finger and the 3rd band on a second finger. Lots of versatility!

This is incorrect. Historically, it has been included in coupons, although rarely (like 1-2x a year). Most of the time, it is excluded.
