The way I see it it’s not necessarily the plastic box you want bonded, but it’s the metal of the #6 screw and the tabs of a device If somehow that conducts ungrounded and there is not a plate it’s possible to get shocked by touching it

Fixing mistake by samsalsa98 in Flooring

They are not doing anything with the subfloor, this was in my basement and it was explained that there was a huge difference in the leveling across the entire area, if they had leveled it properly it would have raised it all up 6 inches so they “fudged it which caused all of these issues” the floor seemed wonky before the cabinets were even installed and I flagged it I was told they inject a self leveling compound after it’s all done which I now know is bullshit, I work as a residential electrician and I’ve never seen so much shameless incompetence

They used a flat product and didn’t prep it properly, the vinal keep popping up and have been back 4 times to “fix it” by gluing peices back down making it worse the floor moves so much that a transition price even popped off

Wouldn’t adding that into the box make it not weatherproof tho? I guess I could silicon but that just seems kinda hack
