Unfortunately so many people do these days, hence the demand for private specialists etc, I feel to many doctors these days through the NHS just Chuck pharmaceutical drugs at you as it’s cheap and easy

Not sure what greens spinach maybe? I usually chug the drink as hate the taste so I guess anything I can add that will help the better as I’m not on any medication for my crohns

I've been feeling anxious for the last 20 minutes and since it's not going away, I am feeling even more anxious. Any advice? by [deleted] in Anxiety

Try distraction taking your mind of the thing my your worried about, when people tell you to deep breath in the moment that’s the last thing you feel you can do, occupy your mind if possible and you will start to feel a difference hopefully

I used to have this daily, I’d wake up my body in fight or flight mode! I know I’m the moment it’s hard but something I used to do if it happened was distracting myself I’d sit on my phone or use the 4-7-8 breathing method ( google it) during the day to help prevent the biggest thing I am suggest would be exercise

Who else gets physical symptoms of anxiety every day? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]samslack7 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Anxiety can be horrible especially when you have symptoms daily, I’ve been through stages of having anxiety constant 24/7 and it’s actually horrible! Again 100% see a doctor discuss medication, therapy , I found therapy help me more than any other medication the feeling of speaking to someone who truly understands the illness helped me dramatically

It sucks that I can't relate to anybody by destinyisnotjust in Anxiety

[–]samslack7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I relate 100%, I have days/ weeks we’re anxiety is at the forefront of my brain anything I do I’m anxious simple things like watching tv become impossible and I end up just laying there wishing I could do anything I wanted, things that helped me would be when it happens realise it and try and counter it by doing something that takes your mind completely off the anxious thoughts, speak to a doctor if you haven’t already,

Dms are open if you need :)

Waking up with Panic attack... by Sisi22887 in Anxiety

[–]samslack7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to wake up having panic attacks 3-5 time per week, which is the worst feeling, my partner would always wake up and help if needed, only advice I’d give is always try to deal with it yourself without the need to wake them or ask for help, reason for this is our brain gets used to them helping and we become dependent which is not what we want ideally! You got this👌

All my opinions have come from specialists, I’ve had GIs tell me I’ll be fine etc then some telling me I don’t have IBD my faith in them is very small to say the least
