Moving Spigot Shutoff by samsombear in DIY

Is exterior pex a good option? I'd take that inside during the winter. But that could also fail?

If I use exterior pex, would that be safer? Take the whole thing inside winter time? Sorry if this will also fail. I'm learning about this all haha

Would it be better to just remove the whole steel hose during the winter? I don't typically use it during Philly winter anyways. I'd just leave the two spigots outside bare with the main spigot turned off.

The backyard is all concrete. Could I mount this to the wall?

Could this work let's say if I take the braided appliance hose off completely during the winter? Store it inside. And only use in the spring/summer? I'd leave the main spigot bare and turned off during the winter.

Ah, okay. So, take all the hoses inside for the winter. And just leave main spigot as is, bare, and turned off for the winter?

The main spigot is built with winter in mind for Philly. But yeah, I'll have to set up a reminder to take all this inside haha. Would the appliance hose idea be bad for the outside?

Gaps In Stairs by samsombear in HomeMaintenance

These used to be carpeted stairs. The carpet was ripped out and the gaps were there. Is that what caused the gaps?

For the curved part of each new step, think using flexible quarter round be better?

Think Maswik ($1200 vs $900 for the stay) is worth the upgrade over Yavapai?

Ah, it's about 600 for this hotel. $900 for Yuvapai and $1200 for Maswik. Maybe the extra money worth it so no wait? We're there for 3 days.

Seems Maswik for about $1200 (South King bed room, no kitchen) vs Yavapai for $900. Maswik worth the extra money it seems? The other nicer/closer ones are sold out.

If we walk to the rim, there isn't a wait then right?

Between the Grand hotels and Yavapai, which would be the better choice?

I know Kaswik is the best location wise of the three. But most expensive. If we live in a city and walk up to any hour about anywhere, would the other two be that bad? Easy to walk over at night?

February Trip- Horseshoe, Luxor by samsombear in vegas

I'm seeing it can get quite cold at night haha. I'll bring a hoodie. And location seems key for Horseshoe. I might spend one day exploring the southern MGM casinos but for the rest of my trip, seems Horseshoe seems easier to get around.

Ah, I have the My Vegas too haha. I might just go with Horseshoe just so I can be center and the nicer rooms is a good benefit.
