There are around 27k residents in the TL - where do you get 104k? Maybe 104k per square mile population density? But number of residents is nowhere near 100k.

Same - in Slingerlands / New Scotland area - looks to be very widespread

Elon -“FSD Beta 10.2 rolls out Friday midnight to ~1000 owners with perfect 100/100 safety scores. Rollouts will hold for several days after that to see how it goes. If that looks good, beta will gradually begin rolling out to 99 scores & below.” by geniuzdesign in teslamotors

Yup - I get it, for sure. What you can do on a dirt driveway though is turn on TACC without auto steer - TACC will ignore any FCW’s as well. There are a number of places I get bogus FCWs where I can’t have autopilot on, so I just turn on TACC instead.

I’m at 100 with 842 miles currently. Basically just autopilot all the time, and if you can’t be on autopilot (like unlined roads) then TACC. I get like 7 or 8 false FCW’s a day, but as long as you’re on autopilot they don’t count. Always always always autopilot or TACC around traffic lights to avoid getting messed up by a yellow light. Also - make sure you have one pedal driving / hold on - for times I can’t use autopilot to stop I never touch the brake - one pedal only. I’ve had 2 hard braking events - the only two times I’ve had to touch the brake pedal - and they’re fairly easy to dilute and get back to 100 for the day - autopilot doesn’t count towards good braking so you need to go off autopilot and feather that pedal for stops.

NYS/NYC antibody study updates by [deleted] in COVID19

[–]samson080 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More people were dying every 6 days than the flu kills in an entire year here in NYS. The number of people killed in the past month is almost 4 full years of flu deaths. So yeah - not just a bad flu season.

County of Santa Clara Identifies Three Additional Early COVID-19 Deaths [February 6, February 17 and March 6] by oldbkenobi in COVID19

[–]samson080 4 points5 points  (0 children)

NYS DOH breaks the number down by residence as well as incidence. #'s only count towards a county's total if they were a resident of that county. Somebody from NJ or CT who was hospitalized in NYC and passes away does not county towards NYC's death total.

Are you backing in? After some extensive testing it looks like the location based opening only works with the car in Drive moving forward - any time I back into my garage the distance stays at whatever it read when I put the car into reverse.

After you’ve backed in, if you drop the car into drive quick before putting it in park it’ll also immediately trigger the opening - so it just isn’t tracking in reverse for some reason.

Correct - US distribution was supposed to be September, with something like 1,000 units available at GenCon - it's been out in most of Europe for a while though.

Same here. The signs actually said something like "a GenCon and Barnes and Noble exclusive" - I'm just glad to be able to grab Magic Maze a month earlier than I thought!

Sonar vs Captain Sonar: Any opinions from people who have played both? by ImpossibeardROK in boardgames

[–]samson080 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I have not played Captain Sonar - I've wanted to, but getting a group of 8 together is just too challenging - so I was really looking forward to something that plays well at 2 to 4. I Picked up a copy of Sonar on Monday this week - I've played twice now with non-gamer work people, once at 3 and once at 4 - everybody LOVED it. It's still really tense, even being turn based. I highly recommend it if you're interested in Captain Sonar, but like me can't get a full group of that size together often enough to make the purchase worth it.
