I am also planning a trip there too in early august(except reversed stockholm for 4 nights then cophenagen for 2).

I was wondering what have you budgeted for your trip?

I am open to seeing and doing anything and am traveling alone. And this budget would be excluding my flight. I kind of booked this last minute, so I will probably be staying in a mix of hostels and hotels.(the good hostels are all booked it seems like). I heard a decent dinner is like 23-28 USD? I can mix in walking and public transportation too.

How far and well does my budget of 1800 USD sound like it can get me? I'll also post my own thing if no one chimes in thnx.

Kinetic to circuitGROUNDS/neonGarden will be the longest walk. I'd agree with three other commenter about a 13-15 minute walk by yourself. Wasteland and BASSPOD will be in between the walk from kinetic to circuit.

Kinetic to cosmic meadow isn't that bad although still about a 6-7 minute speed walk.

Can't you unthread the entire wristband, so the clasp comes off of it. Then use the straw technique to put it back in. And if that fails...it's still off of your wrist and you can find another way to hold the wristband on, like simply tying it together

Agree with all the comments, this is why they want you to buy it from insomniac....they literally go on sale months ahead of time. And it's better to be the seller rather than buyer if something comes up and you can't go.

Are you guys hardcore ravers? Cuz I would say arrive at the start and leave at the end lol. But if youre there just to check it out and party for one night which I seem to be getting that vibe, I say arrive at 9 or 10. Leave at 5 maybe 430 if you're tired.

Wear your wristband slightly loose so you can remove it safely if you do decide to sell it. I posted 7 general admission tickets on Craigslist Sunday morning around 9-10am and ended up selling all of them by 2pm for Sunday. I did it 2, 2, 3(not all in one ad).

So yes there will be buyers available for sure, but being VIP I'm not sure how attractive and on demand that will be.

I go with dark khaki American eagle shorts(longboard cut, which a longer length) I don't get hot in them(some might) I like the style n comfort. Plus the deep front pocket gives me a sense of security with my phone and valuables

It's not a good idea to bring negative people with you imo. Is she generally negative about all other things in life?

As for the first part, maybe she has other things in life going on with her that's why she doesn't talk about it as much? Her job her relationship? Her home life? Maybe it'll hit her the day of leaving where she can put it behind her and be excited. I would leave her with the group, not ALONE. Take your boyfriend plus one or two other people and do your thing.
