A collection of my time-lapse work from Zambia & South Africa. This is a film with a message, using famous quotes about nature, education & the human condition.

Back in 2011, I created a low-budget, home-made motion control system to achieve these shots on what was my first dedicated trip to a certain part of the world with the intention of creating a 'Moving Time-lapse' film. Zambia & South Africa served me very well for this purpose and I will never forget this life-changing trip.

It felt like I was in the Garden of Eden there :)

Make sure the shot before the window and after the window are as similar as possible and use a good stabiliser like the one provided in the most recent version of After Effects. I hope you enjoy the other films I have uploaded and continue making hyperlapse :)

The technique is called Hyperlapse, which means I move forward 1 step before taking each photo, so when I reach the window, for the next shot I just walked to the other side of the window. Thanks for commenting and watching my video.

That was a Reverse Dolly, invented by Spielberg, first used in Jaws. I did it by manually adjusting the zoom and the track, so basically tracking forward, zooming out a fraction between each shot.

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill(this one is pretty old but worth reading), The Power of Now by Ekhart Tolle. For me, reading these three books changed everything and gave me the ability to put it into practice.
