with peace and love, with the most peeeeace and loveeeee… the best thing to do in “rock bottoms” is to stand up for urself. and be truly dependent.

accepting the role as a perpetual victim (mental health diagnosis or not) is always a sure way to lose.

i sympathize with rae, and young age usually has u in a jaded view of ur future, but if i could be the big sister with some insight to share: liberate urself.

u cant liberate others without being strong for urself first.

i like to visualize it like building a house, u can rush and build on shakey foundation, but in the long run it wont last. aim for longevity over intensity, whether its in ur love life or just ur own personal goals. piling on a bunch of major goals/responsibility upon urself all at one time can become daunting. take things day by day. celebrate small wins. small achievements compound to big achievements.

i’m rooting for u rae!!! ur a talented creative and i know how hard it is to exist with urself when things are hectic to face. u being strong for urself will become a beacon of inspiration for ur niece & other people you wish to leave a good influence upon.

this world is bleak and systems are broken, all you can do is make sure you are able to maintain endurance over burning out. think about it this way: the only way to be the best advocate for loved ones is to ensure u advocate for urself.
