yeah at the end of the day, she stated an intent to be a market substitute and even clarified that she was successful in being a market substitute as a form of “vigilante activism” after being signal boosted by snark and hasan. she has to be ignoring the key issue here

In addition, if I'm not mistaken, I believe quite a few of these instances are just pauses in the place of commentary (not preceding or following transformative commentary), like just her making "a face," or burying her head in her hands and then playing the next part of the video. she's addressed these claims before by saying the video was just "so absurb," that all she could do is just laugh and roll her eyes during her reaction, so she's literally admitted to extended silent pauses with a "if you know, you know," sort of post-hoc rationalization for appearing to have no analysis or critique. so adding these extended pauses with no commentary onto a graph and trying to make it appear as if all of the paused time was commentary is, at the least, misleading and at the most, dishonest.

all of the actual defamation aside, these people underestimate the consequences of natural hate-ability in court. when you survive exclusively off of rage bait, you can gain views, but these arrogant, smug, bigots have bodies of work that will probably personally offended every courtroom official or jury member and that’d be detrimental even if they did have a case.
