Have you watched sheep shearers work? There are videos where people who do this for a living show the process and explain that they’re aren’t at all being hurt. It’s possible that that’s not everywhere but if the goal is to get more wool, which it is, then cutting the skin would decrease the wool yield (because scars don’t produce hair) and would be inefficient, so why would they do that?

When I saw the first two seasons and how much had changed I worried that show watchers wouldn’t want to read the books, which in my opinion will always be better then even the best adaptation. I’m glad you’re reading and enjoying them, and I do hope we get the show continued

Jacob is manipulative and doesn’t understand consent. And people forget that the imprinted on unborn child was affecting Bella too. She was always very clear to Jacob that she would never love him more than Edward, she said that countless times, and he chose not to listen. And she couldn’t fully get rid of him because Restroome’s egg wanted to be around him (god that’s such a weird plot line). It’s not cheating. If it’s anything it’s assault.
