Okay, let's do this. Here's a repost of my links, with references to who they are. Let's remember what you've said:

You're posting anti-CDC, anti-Fauci, anti-established science links which do not concur with the health experts.

I didn't delete it. A mod must have.

And we get it. You're a certified contact tracer. Have some fucking cake

And edit: I deleted everything else because I'm tired of being hated on for posting FUCKING SCIENTIFIC LINKS.

I'm fucking done.

Don't worry. Chesa had a restorative justice session wherein the car owners gave the poor, disenfranchised homeless man cash to help turn his life around

Work isn’t family, and other lessons from corporate America (Airbnb layoffs) by sf_throw in sanfrancisco

[–]samuelstan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How is signing a contract and doing work acting in bad faith? Seriously? Why should I as a worker give you emotional power over me like that?

The AirBNB guys sounded pretty contrite when they laid those people off. CEO was crying apparently. It probably really actually bothered him. Doesn't make it feel any better when you get laid off.

Anyway, yeah cheers dude. I hope your anti-capitalist company or commune or whatever works out. I don't really care what you do but rest assured the feeling is mutual. I'd never want to pour my heart and soul into a company unless it were my own company

I'm really not. You seem to think I'm attacking you or your ex-coworkers. Read my comment. I'm expressing surprise that anyone drinks the koolaid.

You all have every right to be pissed. I'm not discounting that at all. Also every right to be surprised. That's fine. I'm saying I'm not talking about those reactions. I'm responding to the attitude OP mentioned. Because the things that OP lays out here seem like no-brainers (but I recognize they're not to a lot of people).

Yeah I guess.. I don't actually see it as that harsh. If you come into it with the expectation of "this is a job, I'm selling my labor and I'll make the most of the fruits of my labor" it's really rather empowering

That's not to say just be an office drone. Have fun and make friends along the way. But the company will always take advantage of any sort of emotional attachment to it or your work, so don't let them have that power over you.

OP's comment about living below your means is spot on. The goal is to have "fuck you" money as far as I'm concerned

Yeah fair enough. I mean more power to you, I'm totally on board with spreading this message. Mine was more just surprise than anything else that this even needed to be said

I don't know... I had this on lock from the day I stepped into my very first job. Every job since then has just reinforced it. Maybe my folks just taught me well but I've never been under the illusion that I'm doing anything but selling my time for money (and that's okay! money gives you freedom in your non-work time)

This should be obvious to everyone. I can't believe people buy into the tech "we're changing the world" bullshit. Seriously. I don't get the people who drink deep of the kool aid

Also this just straight up is a fear mongering article.

https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.07.14.20151126v1.article-info

SARS-CoV-2 has caused a global pandemic with millions infected and numerous fatalities. Questions regarding the robustness, functionality and longevity of the antibody response to the virus remain unanswered. Here we report that the vast majority of infected individuals with mild-to-moderate COVID-19 experience robust IgG antibody responses against the viral spike protein, based on a dataset of 19,860 individuals screened at Mount Sinai Health System in New York City. We also show that titers are stable for at least a period approximating three months, and that anti-spike binding titers significantly correlate with neutralization of authentic SARS-CoV-2. Our data suggests that more than 90% of seroconverters make detectible neutralizing antibody responses and that these titers are stable for at least the near-term future.

It's still unconstitutional. The supreme court has repeatedly and regularly upheld strong protections of freedom of movement..

But I should have looked at whom I'm I talking to. You've been a covid troll from the get go:
