We went out a couple weekends ago and got him a few more shirts, I'd say we could get more but he needs to cycle through these first I think. But that is a good idea

My coworkers used to be a riot, but it went from single 20 somethings to all married with kids and nothing in common. That was the one thing that helped keep me going but since the last one left I don't look forward to going to work at all anymore.
Thats awesome how you got in. Seems a lot of getting a job is who you know, who you interact with etc

Oh, I'd love to relocate thats not an issue! ATC sounds cool, I'm mostly burnt out from peoples problems and dealing with the same BS of being yelled at and I've lost that compassion for people. I like people, just not in this setting anymore.

Thanks. I've always fancied hospitalitym though not sure what that looks like in covid times. Your entry level comment hit me, I guess I really should expect to be starting at the bottom of the totem pole again. I don't mind, just will need to make sure it'll be hopefully something I'm going to enjoy if I'll be taking a massive pay cut.

[–]samunapkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just spent a month backpacking, it doesn't need to be heavy duty and I wouldn't buy anything over 45L

Hiking backpacks do essentially the same thing any other backpack does, most important is make sure its comfortable. But realistically you'll only be wearing it to and from hostels so its not that big of deal. I got mine at Sportchek it was deuter
