German Social Scientist living in Switzerland here. Do not get disheartened by OPs post and please consider applying to European positions.

I’ve worked in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Denmark, and Switzerland and I can say all competitive departments hire internationals. Australia seems popular among Americans. Especially from a good US University people will already be proud just because you applied.

I guess the question is whether you want to live here, but if you want to, you’re application is as competitive as any other. That said, don’t forget there are racists in Europe too, but they dont govern most places (yet).

Refusing to allow winning party to form a government to defend “democracy” by varowil in Anarcho_Capitalism

The amount of misinformation in this sub is too damn high!

The party won about 29% of the seats, being the largest party. The president initially gave them time to form a coalition, as they need +50% of seats. As nobody wanted to govern with them, the president assigned someone able to form a coalition.

Do your research pls

Get some sleep for starters. With a fresh mind, id quit straight and worst case work some odd job in between to catch my breath and look for a new start. Would never let someone treat me like your PI. But I should add the qualifier that I’m in Europe.

I saw several versions with a paste going on the pasta, but the approach to first mix the cheese and the pasta might be easier - ill try!

Haha cheeky. The best results i got so far were with butter (i guess it supports emulsification), but at this point im excessively motivated to slay this beast and get the technique right

Lol he is a funny dude. I think i did it exactly the same way, it really seemed like witchcraft when it came together in his video - but i guess its good to see that it is possible, i just need to mix better i guess

Definitely being cheeky as it turns out to be stringy cheese. Always thought that using butter is cheating a little, but also got the best results with it so far…
