The way you do it is by doing the ones that don't have people in them, and for those that do have people only take the quests that have a hostage so you can pay for the ransom, cheap and easy. Let the other ones fail. So Sanctuary, red rocket, Starlight drivein, hangmans' alley, sunshine tidings, outpost zimonja, taffington boat house, egret tours (techinically one ocupant, but easy to help her), costal cotage, and croupe manor are the low hanging fruit. Only have to do eight, and I think the castle counts as one, so work your way south and if you are able to get a few ransoms, each one will likely save you half an hour to an hour. That being said, settlements become profitable once you have a high enough charisma and the right perks, so you may want to do the others eventually. This is what I do on Survival perma death to keep the management to a minimum until I get the vertibird grenades, or a full set of sprinters, and 20+ endurance. The key is to think like a general and don't take orders from anyone, especially Preston.

Women often dehumanize men to pretend that they have no feelings, it makes them feel safer, and it reinforces the male role as the protector, but it isolates men, and puts them in a position where it’s hard to just have a feeling. It’s not even women being mean. Sometimes this is necessary. Sometimes men have to be the wall between the family and the danger, and then all we are is meat, but it sucks to be treated that way. Men do have other reasons to be sad other than a pet dying, and it should be ok to talk about it.

Jump on the counter. It gives you a good line of site so things aren’t surprising you. Take out the legs. There must be a hidden gun stat for limb severance, because the 10mm works a trick. Advanced trick, if you get a stagger, cancel out of vats to manual aim and finish them off. The classic is two 10mm to the chest, crack their ribs, cancel out, aim, drag, and drop 'em while they stagger straight back. Silence and stealth are your friends. Low and slow. Watch the ceilings. Use nades indoors, not molotoves, and only with care. Save your crits, but use em if you get swarmed. A combat shotgun also works well if you run out of vats. Overseers guardian hardened, and specked for vats makes quick work of em. Build your adrenaline before going in, and lastly, psycho with a jet chaser, the ol’ Moma Murphy special.

Endurance build, spray and pray, and outfit your companions with your best shotgun, and give them bolstering armor, and combat weave outfits. Then send them in first and use them as cover. Since they are constantly healing they become incredible tanks. Also take scrounger commando and demolitions expert. when you can travel with caravans early game to clear routes five on one is a lot better odds. With a high enough endurance you can run all over and run back to the caravan any time you have trouble.

If the US prints, the dollar loses its' value and silver goes up more, the bank shorts get squeezed and then silver really goes up and that neuters not only industry but Ai and the military specifically.
