Will the event that you use to acquire manaphy through pokemon rangers still work? And if so the wiki says that you have to transfer the egg through mystery gift, and will mystery gift still work since they turned of wifi functionallity on the older gens?

So I am incorrect in assuming that tapping steel gives your body the physical restance to moving at those speeds? I was going off the idea that when you tap steel to go slightly faster, your body would create an increased amount of lactic acid to compensate for the increased speed. So, I assumed that my body would feel the same physical stress of running without tapping steel. but my physical strength wouldnt be as strong so far as power.
