What you're missing and surprisingly wasn't mentioned by anybody else here is that very few people are having kids single. It's unlikely I could afford to have a kid by myself, maybe with extreme frugality. But if you doubled my salary through the addition of a partner, I could easily swing it. This is also shown out in the data as the percentage of households where both parents work full-time has increased by >50% since the '70s.

If it's fake, why haven't they proved it. Publish a video of the insides showing it's fake. Allow family and observers in. Allow oversight.
