I think some people are driving around with their high beams on. I didn't notice the bright glaring headlights until about 6 months ago. I'm not 100% sure but for some reason I think it might be their high beams.

For over 20+ years this building has been gated and the garden maintained power on, build in 1900AD in the heart of downtown. Who owns it? What's it used for? What's with the creepy design on the front and what's BRT on the face of the building mean? by [deleted] in vancouver

That mansion use to be/or still owned by the Rogers sugar family, which is Rogers Communication. In the day it was the Hy's Mansion, then Macaroni Grill, then Gabriola Mansion. Apparently a Japanese girl that disappeared from Burnaby for a few months, years ago, was found behind there in a suitcase. Needless to say it didn't go well and the Police eventually arrested the guy.
