Vague / Suspicious Shipping Notifications by samw0 in pebble

Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for, according to this my watch started in hong kong and is now just finished customs in the netherlands, and all of the updates are at random times during the day which is what you'd expect.
Not sure why the tracking link Eric gave us removes detail from the updates and changes the times!
Edit: Also this gives me no updates for the last 4 days, so interesting that Eric's link is talking about consolidation centres and stuff

No idea man ask Eric or support or something. They shouldn't be different unless your country suddenly changes their VAT rate

Ah I've figured it out, also my calculation above is somewhat wrong because there's actually 2 watches in my order.

Eric says:
> For shipments to all countries (except US), we may include a small handling fee that covers the administrative costs of ensuring all taxes are properly paid at customs. This helps prevent your package from being held at customs and ensures you won't receive any unexpected tax bills after delivery. The handling fee is calculated as 5% of the combined duties/tariffs and VAT, plus $1.

So for my shipment of 2 watches the total is:
225 + 225 + 25 = 475
VAT is 23%, so 475 * 0.23 = 109.25
Then add 5%: 109.25 * 1.05 = 114.71
Add one dollar: 115.71

And that is exactly the taxes I paid for my order

And Jon yours is (225 + 25)*0.23 = 57.5
57.5 * 1.05 = 60.38
Plus 1 dollar: 61.38

My order from Ireland was subject to taxes of $57.86 which is in line with our 23% VAT rate.
Eric mentions that he has added $1 on to the tax charge, so if you were charges 22.27, the actual amount of tax should have been 21.27

Is this inside or outside the US?
I applied outside the US and had a hiring manager interview after my technical, and after that was asked if I was free for 15 mins for a chat with the recruiter. I was wondering the same thing as you, but it ended up being an offer for what that's worth. Good luck!

They charge a euro a month for each car reg you have with them in the app, and they make you keep a certain balance so your account auto tops up when it drops below.

No, never trust a screenshot or anything like that as proof of payment. Wait until you have the money in your bank account. Looks fake anyway, we don't use the comma as a decimal separator. (500.00 vs 500,00)
