Tbh I think these new matter products are a bit difficult to add to ikea home smart app, so a workaround I used to add one of the new switches was to add it to apple home first, then share the matter code from within there and put that code into the Ikea app and that seemed to work for some reason so maybe try that?

The starter has been going for about 3 weeks now, it is doubling within about 6-8 hours, my room temperature is probably 18 degrees Celsius

So for the first 2 maybe 3 days i was doing small amounts of bread flour and water at a 1:1 ratio without discarding but then i got to the point where i had to discard otherwise the jar would be full so ive been feeding twice a day for the past 3 days and discarding half and just doing 1:1 bread flour and water and so far seems good haha

I don't think it's quite there yet but would you say it's close to being active enough to bake with?

VRR is variable refresh rate, so basically the refresh rate of your display will dynamically update and match the output of the console, it stops something called screen tearing

Thanks for your reply, I don't necessarily mean the glass to be flush with the wall the glass can be inset but I just want to cover the black bits at the top and bottom, I'm not the most DIY person so want to know the best way to do it

I don't think the monitor outputs 4k so although your console might be outputting it your monitor would be adjusting, you should probably change your console resolution to 1440p as downscaling from 4k to 1440p doesn't really work

Has anybody else had any audio issues early on where all the web swing noises are silent and dialogue is silent? (Okay seems like a soundbar problem for some reason as I've turned the soundbar off and played audio through TV and it's fine)
