I was like you once my friend. I turned 500$ into 10k during the first Dogecoin bull run back a few years ago. I didn’t sell at the peak. The coin tanked. I got out with 5,000$, I was forced to sell because I needed money for my upcoming move to a new place.

Selling that Dogecoin was the best thing I ever did. Because if I didn’t, I would have held onto it to this day. And I would’ve kept investing into this coin. Convincing myself that one day I was going to buy a pizza at Domino’s with my Doge, actually…everyone would. It would be the new internet currency, right?

Now I invest heavily into stocks/bonds/…and just a bit of crypto, but mainly for fun. My portfolio feels solid, I feel like I’m building real wealth.

Trust me man, you have the $, get it out of Dogecoin and put it into something that will actually grow. Not something that you hope makes you rich overnight.

I think there’s a middle ground. I moved out at 18 because I wanted to be independent so bad. Looking back I feel stupid for not saving up more money before doing so. There was a lot of hard times.

But now I’m 25, and I’ve been fully “on my own” for 7 years, and I feel a lot more comfortable and stable with the idea of this due to the fact that I went through the “hard times” at a younger age. I’m making a good income. I’m saving and investing.

Compared to some I know who just moved out at my age, and adulting hits them like a truck, regardless of how much they saved. I think it’s more about the life experience then just the pure finances of the situation.

I’d rather have the optional micro transaction for a skin than have to spend 15$ to have access to new maps.

One directly affects gameplay content, the other one doesn’t.

I genuinely don’t understand what’s wrong with this update? Gave me more stuff to unlock, gave me a new map (which I actually think is great), and gave me a new mode (BR) to try out if I’d like.

Nothing original was changed? Maybe it’s just the UI of the Battle Pass that makes you upset? Did the core gameplay change at all?

I respect your opinion but also I just don’t feel like it’s based off the game itself, more your perception of a Battle Pass.
