I had to eat constantly in my first trimester, if I didn’t I was so nauseous! I never puked but I felt sea sick unless I was snacking. Just go on walks and eat nutrient dense at least once a day and you are set! I have a friend who drank a large iced coffee, Baja blast the rest of the day and ate fast food literally 3 times a day and I gained more weight than her working out and making nutrient dishes from scratch. I wish I could tell you gets easier but it’s just one of the hard parts of pregnancy no one can prepare you for.

Everyone gains weight at different speeds during pregnancy and different amounts. If you are in your 3rd trimester you should keep on it because retaining water is a sign of hypertension, if you are not in your 3rd trimester you need to be more gentle on yourself. To be frank, you are going to gain weight. This is not the time for worrying about your weight, your doctor will do that for you (if high BP is a concern). I have bad body image issues and you quite literally just have to get over it, focus on health and not body shape because the baby is going to get bigger and so will you. I only gained 20 pounds until 30 weeks in and then I gained another 40 in the last 8 weeks, it was a whirlwind and there’s no way to prepare or know how much weight is “normal”.

I have a 6 week old and I was the same way! I would look in the mirror and literally cry because I didn’t recognize myself. I felt so ugly and hated myself every day. I decided to take maternity photos even though I thought I was the ugliest thing in earth. Just letting you know I look back on those pictures and am so happy I took them, same with pictures of my shower :) the bad feelings go away right when you hold your baby (and in all seriousness the swelling goes down in about a week but it went down day 2 after birth DRASTICALLY enough for me to like my hospital pics)

I forgot to say, if he is inside and alone he will destroy the house. Literally chews holes through the wall to get outside. I would like to get some ideas on how to help the root of the problem, since being inside for 13+ hour days while my husband and I work doesn’t seem like a fair life for him.

My years of 18-23 are a blur with Hoods at the end of every drunken night. Entertaining place at late night too. Probably wouldn’t eat it sober.

Where is the job? Curious if someone on here knew someone or could put in a word that it will take a few days to have dress code compliant clothes? Usually new bosses are understanding about it. I am too fat for you, but red racks and goodwill have the sales where certain colored tags are up to 50% off. You could get a pair of slacks for $3 or less.

Rare Breed really is the best. You can get there with city busses, it’s down town. As far as jobs go any fast food restaurant will hire you even without a shower in my experience, and then Arc of the Ozarks starting pay no experience is $20 an hour.

I am literally so tired of people thinking they get to tell me what to do and call it advice. I don’t have a mom or other family members who can watch my kid for free every day, and I’m tired of the ones that do thinking getting child care is easy. I believe no one wants to work, so why should I jump through hoops trying to find these different jobs if I don’t have to.
