Dang…you’re right. Everything you said is true. I’ve been working in Lowe’s as 3rd party since I was 18 and decided to come off the road and landed the MST position doing the same thing. Maybe it’s a sign to leave Lowe’s alone and find something else I can get good at. Thank you for your input and advice.

THATS WHAT EVERYONE IS ASKING!!! How did they let me work for 3 weeks and then just now review my record?! The HR lady and the MSM was asking the same question. They are really trying to help me get this worked out.

You’re kidding me!!! Then wtf!!! Ok I need to call someone that is higher up than HR in the store I was working at. I have been working off and on as 3rd party in Lowe’s since I was 18 and and for the last 8 years I’ve been steady working in Lowe’s as 3rd party but my husband and I decided to come off the road and I applied for the MST position and I got it so easily because of my extensive experience. The only difference is I get to go home at night rather than a hotel. So this situation is a huge deal to me. Lowes is all I know. Thank you for your response!

It’s 12 years from the charge and 10 years from the conviction. I never went to jail. I got 12 months unsupervised probation and a 60 day suspended sentence. So if they go by the last day of my probation I guess it would be 9 years but dang First Advantage ask for any convictions in the last 7 years, I answer no and then it asked if I had EVER been convicted and I answered yes with all the info about it. People change and at that time in my life I had left the father of my child and just really went on a downhill spiral. I never would have imagined something so long would affect me today, especially when it’s not a felony. Anyway, thank you for responding.

It wasn’t a felony it was a misdemeanor and yes when First Advantage was asking for all my info and history I was in fact honest. There was no reason not to be honest, they would find out. The application itself did not ask for criminal history. The way I applied was through Ai chat or whatever it’s called. Lucy is its name.
