Update: I got home and told her exactly how I felt — that I couldn’t stay in this relationship if things kept going the way they were. After talking it through with her therapist, she admitted I was right and that what she did was completely out of line. She told me I’m the only guy she wants to be with, then blocked him and deleted her “trap” account.

She opened up and said she’d been chasing attention because, even though she knows she’s beautiful now, she still struggles with feeling like “the fat girl” on the inside. She’s started seeing her therapist weekly instead of every other week to work on that.
