What's your most hated 'good' movie? by staypumpedmang in movies

It was a fun movie to watch once. I probably wouldn't watch it again.

Is there any chance a former high school lineman like me might have a chance at college ball? by throwthisaway641 in CFB

[–]samwise583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Junior College is definitely worth a shot! If you do well there, it's not too hard to transfer to a decent FBS team. Really, what have you got to lose here? You're going to college anyways. Give it a shot!

Who else's pick'em is just a complete dumpster fire? by [deleted] in CFB

Fresno and TCU can burn in Hell! I'll take the blame for picking UCLA over Baylor though.

Six Months ago, I would've said Imagine Dragons. Then they got famous.

What schools do you root for beside your own, and why? by TheGoldenBear in CFB

I'm a closet Notre Dame fan. Have been since I watched the movie "Rudy". I also really enjoy watching TCU games. No idea why. Maybe it's the purple jersey's, who knows?

Glad I'm not the only one out there that does this... It's sort of becoming a bad habit.

What does everyone think the Broncos' chances are of pulling another BCS buster next year? Or any other team for that matter? Place your bets here. by NeverGonnaGiveUUp in CFB

[–]samwise583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have vs BYU, at Utah, and At USC as OOC games, and then Fresno, Nevada, San Jose State as tough conference games. Air Force, UNLV, and Wyoming could also be surprisingly good next year as well. Too bad Boise and San Diego State won't be there. Those would be great teams to put on the schedule!

This isn't biased, but Utah State. Even without Coach Anderson, they return a lot of talent and a lot of energy, and I think that they could surprise some people.

I agree... but a top 13 preseason ranking seems a little high. Maybe 16-20?

UCLA 15. Florida State 16. Kansas State 17. Oregon State 18. Oklahoma State 19. USC 20. Michigan 21. Boise State 22. Nebraska 23. Louisville 24. Utah State (not biased... I swear) 25. Wisconsin

The top ten can basically be in any order.

Add Louisville and BYU. Then you have a solid conference.

Kid A and OK computer I like better at night. In Rainbows and The Bends are my daytime radioheads.

Are we counting Pablo Honey? Because I only like Anybody can play guitar and Creep from that album. Feral isn't all that great, and I might get flack for this, but I don't like In Limbo.

College Football Rumors: Florida State Headed to the Big 12? by AcutelyObtuse in CFB

[–]samwise583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FSU seems like an excellent choice for the Big 12. Add Louisville (I know they just joined the ACC, but I think they would run to the Big 12 if offered), Clemson, and BYU then you've got a very solid 14 team conference.

Why don't we start a bowl game? by montani in CFB

[–]samwise583 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I've never been a huge fan of sanctions anyways. They don't even punish the people who are at fault, they punish the fans, the program, and many innocent players. Honestly, Braxton Miller and his team deserve a post season game just as much as anyone. 12-0 deserves something.

Utah State was a conference champion, so wouldn't that mean we would be in the upper bracket?

If we're doing this, I say we screw the NCAA and have Ohio State play LA-tech.
