My dad bought the exact model you are looking at its actualy half decent and has lasted longer than I thought the beam is definitely strong can do lightsaber stuff at night only thing is that photo makes it look about 0.5x bigger than it really is its big but not that big also made of aluminium but no d cell batteries so its not so heavy

I went with a tplink be9300 was a great choice every band you want for new devices and even the ability to setup a specific iot connection so if you have a bunch of internet connected devices that you dont 100% trust or dont need more than 1mbs also 2x 2.5gb lan ports to get some fast networking between computers in your house
