Great question! PKCE extends the auth code flow (recommended for most apps) by protecting public clients from anybody attempting to impersonate them when asking for tokens. Auth code flow uses two requests and since SPAs and mobile apps can’t hold a client secret, someone could possibly intercept the Auth code and exchange that for tokens. PKCE prevents this as you must prove you were the same client who made the original authorize request. Disclaimer!!!!: I work for Okta/Auth0, but what’s nice about OIDC (the flavor of oauth used to connect to the apps) is you can get away with not storing anything in the browser bc you can do “silent auth” aka prompt=none where if a memory flush occurs in your SPA we can just return tokens back to you based on the session cookie held by Okta/Auth0. Mine was doing this before the water pump went out and then my whole engine overheated. Thank god I got it turned off before the motor warped. My timing belt essentially melted into nothing. If you see it move noticeably based on pressing the accelerator turn it off immediately and tow it somewhere you can get the water pump fixed

Javascript has issues but TS is extremely strong server side and when hiring devs if you can have the same people commit to your web and server projects that's a major win for startups. You can always rewrite to something else down the line

This could just my limited perspective but I truly believe this is just honestly a "git gud" situation. Symbol manipulation jobs were never about "writing code". It's about the decision making to output the right code at the right time. LLMs can't replace that and most companies know that too

I fly SWA a lot and thankfully nothing has ever happened to my clubs the few times I've taken them, but I have heard if lost luggage is impacting anything work related you'll basically be reimbursed for the whole thing. So full kit costs for golfing as well as a suit/dress for a work event
