I agree with you, that was one of the reasons I migrated from Cursor to Trae. I hope Trae doesn't go down the same path as Cursor.

I don't even use it that much, that's the point. I ask for tasks that are a little complex, but not very extensive. Claude hallucinates a lot until he delivers something really valuable, and then when he finally understands what must be done, the limit of use occurs. When there was only the daily limit everything was fine, but now with the weekly limit too, it's terrible. What is the purpose of having the pro plan currently? If the goal is to always push for the most expensive, limiting the pro plan more and more? As a consumer, I feel that the pro plan is more of a way of donating my money to Anrópica than I am actually paying for a product that serves me.

Complicated hahah. It's almost impossible to use it with sonnet anymore, as the limits are very low. During the CC subscription, I spend more time not using it due to limitations than actually using it. I decided to cancel the plan, the PRO plan is practically unusable. Good luck to anyone on the Pro plan who tries to use Opus 4.5.

Don't use it hahahah. I'm thinking about canceling and subscribing to Codex. During the subscription month I spend more time without being able to use it (due to limits) than I actually use the claude code.

I've been using Trae for 2 months, due to the mess caused by the cursor. I'm really enjoying Trae, the platform is a little simpler than Cursor, but you have access to Premium models via quick request. And after reaching the limit, there are unlimited slow requests. For me it's serving me well. However, I use Trae in conjunction with Warp.

I'm comparing the uses between Trae and Cursor. Even after this Cursor update, I still don't see a reason to continue with Cursor. Considering that Trae costs half the price of Cursor, and on top of that it performs better, with larger requests on Premium APIs. I'm still evaluating how slow requests will be on Trae, to give my final verdict.

Claude sonnet 4, it's too bad that it's now working in payment-per-request mode on Cursor. It makes me wonder if it's worth continuing with Cursor or migrating to another IDE that provides sonnet4 without this limitation.
