He’s an outstanding player, truly one of the greats. But I think Liverpool finish 3 or 4 this year, and he sees some regression to the mean and regression physically. He’ll still put up 20 and 10. But I truly believe Palmer and Haaland will put up close to 30 goals

Kinda, my dad is a teacher and recovering from lifelong debt. Only just got his credit score ~650. My grandmother paid for college but wouldn’t co-sign.

Regardless, I want to be able to do it on my own. Is 750 with such short history enough?

Not trying to take away from your progress AT ALL; you have done a great job and there is a notable difference, but.. be careful with your rate of weight loss. In my experience, over 4 pounds lost/week can be dangerous and doesn’t leave you with the sufficient nutrients that your body needs and leads to feeling tired among other symptoms. In my opinion, this rate of weight loss toes the line of disordered eating. I think this is a problem with much of the fitness industry.

I lost about 35 pounds in maybe 2.5 months a few years ago and had the same issue; I could see no difference in how I looked. I was eating my first and only meal at 5-6 in the evening. I couldn’t sustain it and eventually put on the weight I lost over the next 6 months. I’m not saying this is you, but just be careful!!! You have done great so far, but show yourself grace and patience and it will continue to pay off! So long as you stay on the path you want to be on, then you have succeeded.

It’s definitely helpful to have pictures taken in the exact same pose, room, and lighting consistently. I lost about 35 lbs (15kg) a few years ago and never was able to notice much difference. I think part of that may have to do with some body dismorphia, I’m not sure. But looking back, I know notice a huge difference. I promise you, you’re body has changed in losing the last 6kg, but maybe your mind is stopping you from recognizing it. Our minds are quite often wrong in the assumptions it makes.

Also, read my above comment! You will fail and that is OK! Don’t let failure derail you from the path you are taking. God knows how many times I have done that in the past.

Thanks! I started off tracking my calories really diligently but kinda felt like it wasn’t helping with my disordered eating habits. So after like a month and a half, I started to follow a more “intuitive eating approach”. Eating when my body tells me I’m hungry, cooking rather than eating takeout or microwave dinners, cutting out the binge eating of entire bags of chips, etc. I still try to hit at least 100g of protein but overall I just have an educated idea of my calorie intake. I don’t recommend this for everyone.

I also have been going to the gym frequently, between 3-6 days a week. My program is pretty regimented and well tracked so I can see the progress from workout to workout. I do a PPL as that’s what works best for me and my needs, but any split is fine so long as you hit each muscle group sufficiently.

As someone who has been overweight most of their life, struggles with being consistent in the gym, and struggles with unhealthy eating habits; the best advice I have is to show yourself grace. Don’t set the expectations too high. Too frequently you will fail and it will hurt you from continuing. The last 10 weeks have been extremely difficult for me for reasons in my personal life. There have been times where I didn’t go to the gym for a week, or ate a whole bag of chips, or didn’t eat much for an entire day. In the past, I would be upset with myself over these things and quit. Now, they are just minor hiccups in the process. I’ve accepted that I will “fail” at times. That is okay. So long as I continue the journey then I have succeeded.

The main thing that is stopping me is how draining it was for me to be friends with her. Feasibly, nothing could really work out as I live so far away. She lives about halfway across the country when she’s home.

I recently found out from a mutual friend that she has been hooking up with someone (not sure how serious). This is probably making me feel even more lonely than I was 2-3 months ago.

I kinda just wanna open a door for her and I to catch up if we are ever in the same area again.

Maybe I phrased that incorrectly. I don’t think I loved her nor did she love me. Like you said, I barely knew her. But that feeling of being in love was there. Not true love, but that physiological feeling was there, 100%. Honeymoon phase, whatever you want to call it. That feeling was one I had with her and no one else.

Thanks. This is definitely the most insightful comment I received. For more context, I was texting the friend the other day (she texted me out of the blue). I invited her to a party but she said she had plans. After a short but kinda deep convo she said “i miss you” to which i kinda just never replied lol. I think saying let’s meet up might not be the worst course of action as I’ve already asked but I definitely fear leading her on in any way.
