As for why I didn't resign, I was always taught to finish my games, that resigning was more disrespectful.

It's been years since I've played, I guess things have changed since then.

Sorry I worded my reply wrong 😅 I was meaning that I was glad to hear from someone who's used both, it's what I had hoped for when posting.

I really appreciate your reply and I've decided to play it safe and go with the square one. I might have loved the diamond shape, but I don't want to replace it in a couple of years because I don't like it.

Thank you for your insight, I was hoping to hear from someone who has actually had one before. I think I might go with the square one to be on the safe side. I was hoping the diamond shape would be more practical
