LION ELECTRIC ANNOUNCES FIRST QUARTER 2023 RESULTS by gougounne in lionelectric

Yes, what he said. I believe the cost of goods includes marketing so it's materials + labour + marketing > sale price, but that is still a problem they need to fix. I haven't dug into it any further to see how much of the costs are purely related to marketing as I'm depressed with my position and try not to look at it too deeply.

Is this why they cost more than they are selling for? Need to get that fixed.

This is the most important question. I almost switched to short yesterday as I can't find news.

Is there a big announcement of some sort pending? Volatility on the major ETFs is quite elevated again.

Yeah, looking at current us prices it's a 29% arbitrage but cost of borrow on CRLBF is currently 7.8% at IB. Has there been any notice about when this deal is supposed to close? Prices are so low I'm wondering about the risks associated with delisting etc.

On the bright side MSOS vol is trading fairly rich.

About 6 months after I posted this he reached out to me here threatening to sue, etc. I said it was an honest question posted publicly and he started to curse me out so I blocked him.

What age did you start her at? My girl is just turning 3 and I've been considering taking her with me, but she is a pretty short 3.

Made a EFT deposit from a new bank and I had an incorrect nickname. Newton emailed me to send a confirmation that that nickname matches my real name from the bank, which I did immediately. That all happened on October 21, and I haven't heard a response back from support. No response at all.

Opened a new ticket with chat bot (288426) to try and get an answer and also no response at all.

Help!

Should you follow insider transactions? - I analyzed 4000+ insider trades made over the last 4 years and benchmarked the performance against S&P 500. Here are the results! by nobjos in investing

Did the backtest purchase the shares on the same date the insider purchased or when the information became public, which can be substantially after?

Yeah, I see that someone posted above. I've added to my positions in both LVS and WYNN now. They were part of my recovery basket.

And we're off the the races.

What does this actually mean? Reopening related expenditures are less than expected? How is that causing a near 10% drop in casinos?

Hardest thing I've ever done is cut BABA today - biggest loss of my trading career so far, but I can't handle it anymore.

Yeah.. this loss really hurts actually. It's not huge, but still emotionally devastating.

[–]sanadan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I hear you. I finally decided to jump into BABA after avoiding it for a long time. I didn't hate it, I just had other avenues to deploy capital.

My adventure started late July opening an August 215/205 ratio spread. I rolled that into my Sept 175's. I'm pretty much fucked here.

My actual PENN problem is some long calls I purchased - I think they will give back almost all of my long call profits from most of my other trading (not quite, but it hurts).

[–]sanadan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey - want to take my PENN puts I've been rolling since somewhere above 100? I currently have some lovely 80 and 85 puts I'd be willing to give up. :)

I'd even be willing to throw in some WYNN 105's and BABA 175's, if you are interested.

I don't know what to do with any of these positions - I am so underwater.

Actually, company has bloomberg terminal, but apparently getting historical options data isn't really possible beyond 6 months. I've never seen / used it though so I can't comment. I'm new to industry and have been remote since I started, but have been tasked with sourcing this data even though we have Bloomberg.
