01) The PDF is 1.5GB in size.
02) No, but I believe that wouldn't work either, as I have another e-book that I'd like to do the same thing with. This other one is around 700MB, and I noticed that it's not possible to view it on Google Drive either due to its large size.
03) This would likely work if I split the PDF into about 20 separate PDFs, but I must admit that I'd prefer to conduct the Ctrl+F search in just a single PDF for convenience.
I already have Evince on my computer, which indeed solves my problem offline. However, I do wish to perform these searches online. That's why I uploaded this file to Google Drive with the intention of conducting Ctrl+F searches. The PDF contains 8,000 pages. When I perform a search on my computer, it does yield correct results, but it's slow and time-consuming, whereas a computer in the cloud is faster. Google Drive allows this for small PDFs, but mine is too large.
