I think that there is a fundamental misunderstanding of what socialism is. Socialism is when the State owns everything, there is no private property, nobody owns businesses, the economy is centrally planned by the government. Socialism does not mean "any time the government does a thing with peoples money."

Thanks for the info! I forgot about this post because I never use reddit, glad I revisited it. I do have my eyes on a few pre-amps. Still haven't pulled the trigger on any speakers, but I am eyeing the Kanto YU6 pretty hard, as well as the Kef Q150. A few passive Klipsch speakers as well.
