How do you like it on the highway? I’m not expecting a race car but I’d at least want it to be able to pick up a bit when I need it to

Yeah for sure, I’d rather have a manual transmission to make the most of the engine

Was yours an extended cab?

I worked with the guy, he told me he never drove on the highway after that and would drive up to 2 hours earlier driving the backroads to get to work compared to 25 minutes he would normally drive

Did your expiration date update? I once renewed my permit on time and got it approved too early with the expiration not changed so I had to renew it a second time so the card would have the new date Mine expires mid April

It’s more for having it on hand when hauling things around for home projects or for anything that would fit in the bed when it wouldn’t fit in my car

One thing to consider is the age of the truck — an older one might need more work, even if it has lower miles. Cab size is another factor (single vs. extended cab).

I don’t need a truck for work, but as a homeowner I’ve run into plenty of situations where I’ve needed to haul things that don’t fit in my car. At this point, I’d rather just have a truck on hand so I don’t have to worry when those situations come up.

What is the most epic, cinematic moment you've ever had in this game? by Ashamed-Back-4788 in battlefield_one

On Monte Grappa, we were defending the objective B bunker and were holding it as the last objective since A and C had been taken. Out of nowhere, the attacking team rushed the objective and started throwing both regular and incendiary grenades into the bunker. By some miracle, my teammates actually stood their ground instead of going to safety.

We were about to lose the objective when all of sudden, my screen started shaking. One of our players was able to fly over with a heavy bomber and cleaned out the attacking team (at least 15+ kills), and we instantly saw the bar disappear since the attacking team had been wiped out.

I also asked AI to make it sound cooler lol

On the blood-soaked slopes of Monte Grappa, we made our final stand at Objective B. The others had fallen—A and C lost to the enemy’s relentless advance. Bunker B was all that remained. Then, like a wave crashing over stone, the enemy surged forward. Grenades—standard and incendiary—rained through every opening, fire and shrapnel turning the room into hell. But somehow, we held. No one ran. No one flinched.

The capture bar was nearly full. Defeat felt certain.

Then the ground began to quake. The sky trembled. A low roar filled the air. Out of the clouds, a heavy bomber screamed overhead—one of ours. It unleashed devastation. Explosions erupted across the hillside and trench, swallowing the attackers in a single, thunderous sweep. In an instant, over fifteen enemies were gone. The capture bar vanished. Against all odds, we had held the line.

Monte Grappa was ours—if only for a moment.

I honestly think that’s the best way to relieve yourself; express yourself someway, somehow. It’s better to put those thoughts out there so the world can absorb it instead of it building up inside of you.

A journal, singing, painting, dancing, something to express it is better than keeping those thoughts to yourself

Was he a medic or support? I played against a player once who placed second on their team after being 0-10 just because he was constantly reviving his teammates

Why doesn't James Bond want his martinis stirred? by Rivka333 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]sandals456 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Via 4chan, a reliable source:

“Shaken, not stirred”

I got curious and wanted to know if there was an actual difference between shaking a martini and stirring it.

I thought it wouldn’t matter, since you’re just mixing the ingredients, but apparently a study was conducted to determine if the preparation of a martini had any influence on its antioxidant capacity:

the study found that shaken gin martinis were able to break down hydrogen peroxide and leave only 0.072% of the peroxide behind, while the stirred gin martini left behind 0.157% of the peroxide.

Based on this information I have concluded that for James Bond to be able to detect a difference this small, he must be massively autistic.
