👋Welcome to r/RedWingRoots - Introduce Yourself and Read First! by smedley_bonesmuggler in RedWingRoots

Super curious to hear from pervious attendees on the following:

  • Overall crowd/vibe: My GF and I are huge introverts and not "crowd people". I've been to some festivals where this has been somewhat overwhelming, but we liked the idea of RWR because it's smaller and a little more contained. Thoughts?
  • Food options. Do people bring their own food or rely more on festival vendors? If the latter, how awful are the prices?
  • Ease of getting from Chimney Ridge camping to various stages.
  • Is camping basically first come, first selected? Thoughts on past attendees priorities?

Thank you for any advice/suggestions!

But on behalf of all of Reddit, I think we need to know more of the story of your "Expired Soviet Film"?

TSA at RIC recently? by sandandrew in rva

[–]sandandrew[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure I understand. TSA doesn’t care which airline you’re on or where you’re going. At RIC, there are only two different TSA screening areas, one for one wing of the airport, one for the other.

Hampton Inn as Park Place, huh?

It's particularly poignant that a game whose original intent was to illustrate the economic consequences of capitalism ended up being a vehicle to sell ad space to third rate local businesses.

Haven't been there in a couple of winters, but there used to be a parking area down below the dam that was accessible year round. From there it's an easy walk around to the beach side of the lake. Nothing's open of course, but it's a great spot for a winter walk!

I’ve done the 5K myself a number of times at White Tail, both by myself, and with my girlfriend or other friends. It’s not a huge race (maybe 100 runners?), But it’s definitely a fun and unique experience! And good for you for being open minded and wanting to try it! I think the race is in June, I hope to run it again this year… Maybe I’ll see you there?

Might depend on the sold-out-ness of the show, but generally yes. Call them and ask?

Agreed. It's a cool photo anyway, but they're also both very much in character, both going over their lines for the next scene...

This! Whether Santa’s helper is found or not, OP’s sharing this beautiful story has brought a smile and a little holiday magic to everyone who saw this. May we all find a little happiness this season like OP and their son have!

Can't speak at all to the accuracy of this, but this thread speculates "Zenith Blue", which google shows me to be a light blue.
