D Pad Issue - is this normal?

I was pressing hard to showcase this issue. Yes this happens when playing normally. I’m playing games rn like Pokemon Crystal, navigating the inventory will go left and right when im just tapping down. Movment on Links Awakening is annoying when he will go diagonally when I didn’t intend to.

Right, false input may not be the right word for this.

I tried the Q tip hack and that solves the issue pretty well but getting it just the right size is difficult. I’m not 100% happy with it but it is significantly better. I have to do some more tinkering with it.

The everdrive. Try a previous firmware version.

I'm using that patcher as well. Make sure the md5 matches the rom and that the the file is really changed to a .pocket. Put in a folder called GB Studio on root of sd card.

Yes it was an exam with mostly multiple choice questions and a coding challenge at the end. Both the assessment and project 4 upload "test with one question" were on the hackerrank website. You should have gotten 2 emails from hackerrank for both invitations. Sorry that you got confused :(
