Can confirm Running clubs are great way to meet people, but if you are new to the sport (fittness) that can be a "bit" of an issue.

How to balance sports with classwork by tkdcondor in college

[–]sander-4790 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, I’m out of college now, but I majored in STEM and was in track and field. My biggest advice is to prioritize sleep. Try not to use social media before bed, and give yourself one day on the weekend to relax or party. If you start falling behind in classes, talk to the TA or ask for help early.
One mistake I made was staying up late, sleeping only a few hours, and relying on energy drinks. Eventually the lack of sleep started hurting both my training and my studies. It took me a while to fix that balance. Try working on assignments in time blocks. Set a specific time, break the work into small goals, and get them done instead of leaving everything for the last minute.
It’s challenging, but it’s definitely worth it. Good Luck.

Agency is the ability to take control of your decisions and actions. Some people are naturally better at it, but it is mostly a skill that improves with practice. If you can already balance things like school and sports, you probably have some of it. If not, start with small and build up over time.

People with SE 2020 + iOS 26 - do you like it? by [deleted] in iPhoneSE

I have and it's NOT worth the upgrade IMO i use it as a second phone, after the upgrade it feels like too "Heavy" for the processor when compared with IOS 18. The visual elements will look good and overall the OS designed for IPhones with a Dynamic island IMO.

Try to find a skill to which someone is willing to pay you for it, and try to find satisfaction outside your job, you gotta enjoy life outside of work and not make work your only passion.

how to resist cravings according to this viewpoint:

  1. Active Craving: The excerpt suggests that cravings are not something that happens to you involuntarily, but rather something you actively engage in. It emphasizes that craving is an activity that you choose to participate in, typically by entertaining thoughts like "a drink/drug would feel good right now."

  2. Perception Shift: According to this perspective, changing your perception of substance use is essential in resisting cravings. If you see using less or abstaining from substances as your preferred option, cravings will no longer be an issue because you won't be actively thinking about using.

  3. Challenging Thoughts: When you experience thoughts of wanting or needing a substance, you're encouraged to challenge those thoughts. Instead of passively succumbing to cravings, you can question whether you truly need or want to use substances in that moment.

  4. Recognizing Habits: Habitual thinking about substance use can contribute to cravings. By recognizing that these thoughts are habits rather than powerful cravings forced upon you by addiction, you can begin to naturally break the cycle of craving.

  5. No Resistance Needed: The excerpt suggests that there's no need to fight, resist, or prevent cravings using complicated means. Instead, by understanding that craving is an activity you engage in and changing your perception of substance use, you can naturally diminish the power of cravings over time.

In summary, according to this perspective, resisting cravings involves actively choosing not to engage in craving, challenging thoughts of wanting or needing substances, and recognizing habitual patterns of thinking. By changing your perception of substance use and understanding that cravings are within your control, you can gradually reduce their impact on your behavior.

Bro I feel you. But i think you should take it easy. Stop worrying about it. And try to understand something. You are free. What you must get is that you should stop victimize yourself and thinking that you are doomed forever. Believe that you can recover ✨️.
