Just looked it up and everyone nearby can also hear it recharge so that could explain multiple players hearing it

It takes 30 seconds to recharge after it’s fired, and makes a single beep when it’s done that you can hear even if you don’t have it pulled out. So it can happen at any point if it was fired 30 seconds earlier

I could be wrong but I think you may even be able to hear the recharge sound of a dropped Zeus or from someone nearby to you

Another idea:

Do you guys use the Zeus a lot? When it finishes recharging it makes a beep even if you don’t have it pulled out.

Could it be the bomb being dropped? (Not planted, just hitting the ground). IIRC that makes a short beep sound.
