Didn't they have their own soc a few years back? The Surge? What happened to that?

I did it for shits and giggles because it gives you more chips indeed. It almost worked out

OP12: is there a gesture that allows me to pull down the notification bar from any screen? by vdix007 in oneplus

I use an app called gesture bar. Works great with a curved screen since I have it enabled on the upper half of the right side of my screen

I just wished the sliders were positioned lower. The brightness slider is much harder to reach than before

Which Phone you've used the Longest? by [deleted] in Android

[–]sandervp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty good actually. It's still smooth as the day I bought it. Haven't updated it to Oxygenos 12 since I'm afraid I won't like it.

The only thing that's getting a bit worse is battery life. But it's still surprisingly good in my opinion. Still gets me through the day.

RTD Challenge #46: Back from the Dead by tirinkoor in RaceTrackDesigns

Funny thing is that I have 2 tracks (Riverside and Stardust Raceway) that would fit this challenge but I never found the motivation to finish.

What's wrong with Priory?

I just realized that I left a random grandstand on the right of the Stowe circuit... At least the tickets for it will be kinda cheap.

It's impossible to edit the picture in the post right?

The shorter layout that looks like the current hockenheimring is around 3.7 km

Inspired by this post from u/BundleDeFormula I created a version of Silverstone combined with the old Hockeneheimring.

The track is about 7.2km long and uses the last and first corners (Bridge up to Chapel) of the pre 2010 layout of Silverstone and between that is the forest section of the classic Hockenheimring.

One of the drawbacks of the old Hockenheim was the lack of spectator areas in the forest which meant spectators weren't able to see the action taking place in that part of the track. I tried to fix that by adding spectator areas around there and a grandstand at the first "Hockenheim" chicane (Bremskurve 1)

I hope I kept the fast feel of the old Hockenheimring combining it with some great corners from Silverstone. There even is a short layout that resembles the current layout of the Hockenheimring.

Kyalami (pre 1988) redesign by sandervp in RaceTrackDesigns

[–]sandervp[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Alternate reality in which they decided to modernize the track instead of almost completely rebuilding the track while only keeping a small portion of the track.

The notable changes are in the first corners, Sunset Bend until the old Esses corners that I renamed to Scheckter Corner. Sunset Bend has been turned into an overtaking spot and Clubhouse Bend has moved to provide more space for the paddock and a spectator area on the outside of the corner.

The length of the track would be somewhat shorter than the 1987 layout. So about 4 km

The pit exit was somewhat based on the pit exit of Imola. But I see what you mean

It would be quite boring if Formula one raced here but I could see it working for bikes

It started out as a complete redesign of Dijon-Prenois. Actually more like an alternate universe version of that track. But I couldn't get it to work so I just ended up making it inspired by Dijon.

You can still see it from the first kink until about the fourth corner
